Media Design Group announced it has added Ross McConnell and Mark Biglow to its expanding business development team.

McConnell joins MDG from Steelhouse, where he spent two years as a regional director of business development, handling digital clients such as Buca Di Beppo, American Giant, and WindStar Cruises. Biglow arrives at MDG from Mercury Media. During his 20-year career in DRTV, he has worked with clients such as Positec, Guthy-Renker, Murad, and Euro-Pro.

Both will leverage their relationships to add to Media Design Group’s client roster. “Ross and Mark are skilled sales executives with diverse backgrounds and successful track records,” says Ben Zimmerman, president of Media Design Group. “We are excited to work with them and look forward to the growth and development that they will bring to the agency.”

Separately, Media Design Group added Suzie Wilhelm as its director of client service. Suzie is a veteran of the direct response business, with 18 years of experience at media agencies. In the past, Wilhelm has worked with Mercury Media and Oxford Road on accounts such as Beachbody, Instyler, Guthy-Renker, and Zumba. Her focus will be to work with all current MDG clients to expand service and profitability, as well as pitch and onboard new clients.
