TORONTO Thane Direct announced it has named Anthony Booth as president and chief operating officer. Booth is now responsible for oversight of day-to-day operations at the global direct marketing company, and reports to CEO Amir Tukulj, who recently bought out the company with senior members of Thane’s management.

Immediately prior to assuming his new role with Thane, Booth served as president of Mobilicity, Inc., a Canadian wireless communications company, having been promoted from the position of chief marketing officer. He has also worked in senior positions with consumer products companies including Mars, Inc., and Procter & Gamble.

“Anthony Booth brings a distinguished career in business affairs and corporate operations to his leadership role with Thane Direct, including a recognized track record of success in sales, marketing, finance, and senior-level business administration,” Tukulj says. “As Thane Direct continues its leadership position in global direct marketing, we are excited to have Anthony’s skills and expertise at the helm of our operations.”
