ListenTrust Answers 47,000 Fundraising Calls

PORTLAND, Maine For the third consecutive year, bilingual call center company ListenTrust answered all incoming, live donation calls on behalf of the TeletonUSA charity event, held Dec. 4-6, 2015. ListenTrust handled more than 47,000 calls during the 31-hour, live broadcast, helping raise more than $15 million for the Children’s Rehabilitation Institute of TeletonUSA (CRIT) in San Antonio.

“Our ongoing partnership with TeletonUSA is something we put a tremendous amount of passion into,” says Tom Sheppard, ListenTrust’s vice president of business development. “We are ecstatic knowing that we were able to help TeletonUSA reach their fundraising goals this year as they continue to serve children with disabilities and their families.”

TeletonUSA’s goal was to raise charitable contributions of more than $15 million to support its center in San Antonio and help build future CRIT locations throughout the United States. The event featured more than 20 celebrities and performances, and 55 of the facility’s current patients, who suffer from neurological and musculoskeletal disorders.
