ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. HSN launched Joy Mangano’s New Miracle Mop on Jan. 3 during her “Today’s Special” broadcast. Following more than two years of development, the New Miracle Mop offers features that the inventor and entrepreneur says she never imagined when she burst onto the live-shopping scene.
“I realize now the only thing harder than inventing is reinventing,” Mangano says. “But after spending the past two years re-engineering this amazing Miracle Mop, I’m so excited to help people across America take cleaning to a whole new level. Whoever said mopping can’t be fun?”
The self-wringing mop features “helix twist” technology inside the pole, allowing it to wring itself. What’s more, braided microfibers offer superior absorbency on most household surfaces. The New Miracle Mop is easy to wash and carries the Good Housekeeping seal. HSN debuted the mop in a range of colors at the MSRP of $19.95.
As depicted in David O. Russell’s Oscar-nominated biopic Joy, the Miracle Mop (and a lot of moxie) made Mangano a star. “If there is one item that put Joy on the map, it is her legendary Miracle Mop,” says HSN President Bill Brand. “We are proud to be the home of Joy and to exclusively launch the newly-designed Miracle Mop.”
