TORONTO Thane Direct has named Elizabeth Ridout to the newly created position of Chief Digital Marketing Officer. Reporting to Thane Direct CEO Amir Tukulj, Ridout will be responsible for development and implementation of the company’s e-commerce and global digital marketing strategy and operations.
Ridout joins Thane Direct from Toronto-based Kobo, Inc., where she served as vice president of marketing and communications. Previously, she served with Bell Canada as associate director of acquisition marketing (TV and Internet), and with Signature Vacations, where she held the position of director, national marketing and e-business. Ridout began her career with Grand & Toy as director of e-commerce marketing and development.
